does the castle nut require some lubrication like grease? seems like I read something about that somewhere.. thanks

Yes, same grease as the barrel nut.

I didn't grease, as I use Loctite BLUE as well as stake (I know, I know... overkill).

I picked up the little container of Aeroshell 33 grease used on barrel nuts to use on the castle nut too. Grabbed it from Umbrella corps site.

Won't hurt. I just use some CLP and call it a day.

Use AeroShell 33MS and torque to 40 FOOT pounds NOT 40 inch lbs. The original TM said 40 in/lbs but that was a typo
