I just moved from MA to TX, and I'm looking to have a collapsible stock added (and eventually a new no-ban upper).

Is there any reason I should get a mil vs commercial buffer tube? I'm probably going to go with a MOE stock for weight reasons.

If memory serves me correct a lower receiver extension with mil-spec dimensions will allow you more choices of collapsible stocks to be able to choose from.

Get a mil-spec tube, H buffer, carbine action spring and castle nut. If you use a sling that used QD swivels you might want to get the CTR.

Add one of these if you're into sling options.
