Hey guys. Looking for a nice 5.56, 18" Wylde chambered barrel for one of my SPR's. Been a while since I have swapped one out but looking forward to doing it with my son. I have all the tools needed just looking for recommendations.
Price is not a big issue, willing to spend $500-$600.. |

I've used the 18" SPR Ultramatch barrel from Rainier Arms and was very happy with it. I've also used a 16" stainless barrel from White Oak Armament.
Both were great barrels and very accurate. People also seem to be happy with BCM's stainless offerings, although I have no experience with those particular barrels. And of course, Noveske is pretty well known for accurate barrels. |
| You might want to look into ordering a Lothar Walther SS barrel. White Oak Armament and Noveske barrels are accurate too, you should do pretty good if you stick to proven manufacturers. |

The Rainier Ultramatch barrels are also fantastic, along with Lothar Walther and Noveske. |

I just ordered a Bartlein cut rifled 1-7.7 from CLE. With matched bolt, gas block and beat blasting I was right at $600.

In reality any of the top manufacturer's barrels will be more accurate than the shooter. That's a bold statement. I don't know why people say stuff like that.... What if the guy is using a high power scope and a huge bench rest lead sled with a hydraulic balloon to push the trigger? |
