[ARCHIVED THREAD] - KAC RAS M4

I installed the rail months ago without a problem but now I'm trying to remove it for cleaning but cannot get the top section to budge despite loosening the screw and depressing the hand guard retainer.

Anyone have any ideas how to get this joker off?

You loosened the screw, but did the fork drop? Sometimes when installed they get a little stuck over time, try hitting it with a rubber mallet from the bottom

Seriously though, give it a god smack with the palm of your hand and it'll pop off
