I have the opportunity to get either a DPMS RFA3-L16 or a CORE15 Scout M4.

They appear to be pretty similar, both fixed front sight, flat top with no rear sight.

Both are roughly the same price so that isn't an issue.   I plan on putting a decent scope on it eventually.

My rank of importance
1. accuracy
2. reliability
3. fit
4. warranty

I was just wondering what your opinions were about which you thought might be a better choice for me.   I haven't heard much about the CORE15 but don't want to dismiss it because of that.

Thanks.

Core 15 is the better product.

The Core 15 appears to be a way better product.  I've been working in a gun shop for a while, and I've handled plenty of each over the last 7 months, and the Core 15 appears to be a clear winner in quality.  I haven't shot any of these yet, but if I were going to buy one over the other, it'd be the Core 15 product.  Not to mention their warranty doesn't care if your the 1st owner, or the 3rd owner.

Thanks for the info.  I really like the warranty on the CORE15.  Does anybody have any more info on the CORE15, there doesn't seem to be a lot of info or reviews about them?  Thanks.

I probably won't check this thread but pm with questions. I bough a moe core 15 m4. I bought it to use on duty. It was between that and bushmaster. I don't regret my purchase at all. Out of the box it was hitting a man sized target at 50 yards with irons. Still needs to be dialed in but you can't complain. For and finish is good. Haven't put a whole bunch of ammo through it because I can't get much and I'm saving the little that I do have. Their cs is great. I changed the plate to a magpul ASAP. Only problem was the castle nut was too tight. It actually bent the armorers wrench. One email and I had a prepaid ups label. One week later I had my rifle back with a new castle nut and my plate installed. I would definitely go core 15. There isn't a whole lot out there but I know that they're an up and coming company

A friend of mine has a core15 and is happy with it.  It's gone through a few classes and been 100% reliable.  But that is one and only core example I know of so take it for what it's worth.

I have seen too many failures in DPMS to trust them as anything but a prarie poodle rifle.  Every one of them has been VERY accurate, 16" 20" 24", but too many BCG and other failures.  I guess you would be ok if you wanted to buy a new rifle and then buy a new BCG for it.
