| The one I am trying to find is like the one that came on my Colt m4 back in 1998. The new style has the sling point on bottom of stock and the one I am looking for has it on the top back of the stock. I see that some people refer to it as the N1, but not sure of that. |

What Augee said, search for retro and/or CAR on the EE. I have seen the M&A one and can't remember a difference between it and a orginal, other than the missing N1 but that was awhile ago so there might be small differences that I don't remember. Never handled the DSA version but it looks ok from their pics.
If you want/need it now or if need the whole assembly I would go with either M&A or DSA unless you are set on getting Colt parts. There might be more guys in the retro forum that would know of any other options |
