Ron, the rails on the PRI carbine fiber forend I use on my skunk slaying carbine are all removable. Would that work?

Close. Too many tiny holes though, and it's rifle length. |

Third float tube from the top?
You could get one like this RRA one and go to a local machine shop to add holes. This one at Model 1 Sales can optionally come vented; you could see if they can custom-machine one for you with vent holes instead of stripes. |
Take a look at the Nordic Components one HERE
I know they're not perfectly round, but the closest to that retro heat shield look that I know of. |

Alexander Arms MK10 seems to be similar to what you are looking for. it is a composite material, so will be more comfortable to shot when hot.....or in a cold environment. MK10 from AA

it's worth a call to ask, but if you just want a tube to do a custom drill on I would look at the Clark Custom Carbon fiber FFtube.....it's around $100. Hyperform and one other company also make very affordable carbon fiber FFtubes that only really differ in the barrel nut mount.

I like the AA tube. I wonder if it can be purchased with no holes in it at all, for a custom project. |
