I've been in the market for a new trigger for about 3 months now. It's been a toss up on whether to buy a JP or Geissele unit. While scouring the EE for a used unit, I've come to notice 1 thing.

I see a 20:1 ratio of Geissele trigger to JP being offered. Have Geissele trigger become so popular sales wise that there are more available for reasale? Did some get caught up in BRD and buy a Geissele trigger that wasn't what they expected and are trying to fund another purchase?  Or are more JP buyers satisfied with what they got?

Maybe some of you reading this have offered up one or the other for sale. Could you share your story as to why you decide to sell your ( Geissele or JP ) trigger?

It's probably the same ratio as the owners of Geissele and JP triggers.

More people own Geissele trigger than JP ones so you'll see more used ones on the market.

I love my Geissele, but some day I might sell it to try out a different model.

There's a lot of flavors with regards to Geisselle and lot of folks uses it and trade them. Geisselle Match and AR-Gold are my preferred Ar triggers.

I have several of the JP triggers with their Speed hammer and lately a couple of the Geissele in both Service rifle and Match versions.

I like the single stage of the JP for certain uses, (varmint gun and lightweight carbine, both with appropriate pull weights for the application).

I REALLY like the Geissele for Service rifle/match rifle especially for the slow fire events where you may take up then release the trigger several times before breaking the shot.

Of course, that is all just my opinions.  Both are superb quality and will last almost forever.

what about the jewell trigger? I have one in my SPR type build, have had it for years and been very happy with it. extremely adjustable. I have a SD 3gun geissele trigger in my new LaRue stealth. Both are good triggers but for the money I prefer the Jewell.
