What does H , H2 , H3 equal in terms of buffer specs

I have 1 AR and buying parts to build one ( both in 5.56 )

Have a carbine 16" M4

Building a 14.5 mid.

Need a buffer for the 14.5 mid curious what  different  specs produce different characteristics

the different buffers have different weights.

People seem to think that the heavier buffers result in smoother operation.

both of my guns have H buffers and they both operate fine.  They're both midlength but one is a pinned 14.5 and the other a 16.

I'd like to try an H2 but i can't bring myself to spend $30 on a buffer for a rifle that operates perfectly...
