I bought a DD barrel and received it a couple days ago.  As I was inspecting it I noticed a small tool mark/defect on the bottom edge of the left feedramp.  It is raised and I can catch my thumb nail on it.  My concerns is that it could cause problems feeding, or mar the ammo as it feeds and decrease accuracy.  What do you guys think?  Will this cause a problem?  I contacted DD but have not yet received a response.

Hopefully they replace it. I would not run it as is.

Clean it up with a piece of sandpaper or a small round rat tail file.  Few passes, done.

1) Yes, looks like it could catch and cause feeding problems.

2) You could smooth it down with a Dremel.

3) You could send it back to DD.

I would wait to hear back from DD or whom ever you purchased it from and go from there.

Thanks guys.  I have the tools to fix it, however I would greatly prefer for DD to replace it, being it's brand new and all...I don't see why they would especially if it can cause problems

Looks like it jammed during test firing at the factory and they just opened up the ramp a little bit.

Looks like it was dripped or something. I'd imagine it'd have to be a pretty hard hit to do that.
