hello everybody
im gathering info to build my own rifle from scratch this is going to be my first AR. i have already decided on one of the palmetto state armory build kits with the magpul MOE stock and grip i'm looking now for a stripped lower to use. i noticed earlier that AIMsurplus has a surplus arms lower for sale for 59.95 which seems like a good price to me, but i am unsure what quality this would be. I would assume that as long as it meets MIL SPEC standard, it should be fine. Does anyone have one of these lowers or have any opinion about them? Any other recommendations for the lower or anything else on the rifle? |
| Surplus Arms lowers are good to go. I believe they are made by Aero Precision in Tacoma. Should be just fine for your build. AIM surplus and PSA are both reputable companies and sell quality parts. PSA has a good price on complete uppers too for only $399. AIMS has Spikes uppers for $499 with free shipping. Spend some time reading through these forums and you will get a good idea of which companies put out quality parts. Good luck on your build! |
