| I am looking for a trigger for my new build, I was looking at the JP, Jard and the CMC trigger. Anybody run these triggers? If so what do you think of them? I am looking for a single stage trigger and I dont want to spend alot on it. |

If you want to simply use a standard LPK trigger, hammer, disconnector arrangement and modify your existing lower receive per this drawing from Superior Arms., you will end-up with a “match trigger.” I’ve done Superior’s mod (by thru tapping my own 10-32 hole w/ adjustment screw) to all my ARs’ and it works great!

Geissele’s top-notch stuff, but epointer states that he's seeking to do his trigger on a budget… Geissele's run at least $170+...
Superior’s lower mod can yield at N-M quality trigger pull if you’re willing to play around w/ standard LPK’s hammer spring, trigger return spring and disconnector. A run of the mill LPK runs $50 to $60 bucks and throw in a 10-32 tap w/ a #21 bit for an additional $6 to $8 bucks and you’re in business... |

I thought of going with the Geissele for $170, but I wanted a single stage trigger at about 3-3.5 lb. I ordered the CMC trigger. Shame, you should have gotten a 3G trigger. I've heard too many reports of triggers failing to trust much of anything outside of gieselle or mil-spec. |
