[ARCHIVED THREAD] - handguard cap

hey fellas,

i'm upgrading my handguard on my del ton 18 in upper. the old handguard has the triangle handguard cap and the new handguard only fits with a round handguard cap. 2 questions

1. how do i change the handguard cap

2. does it matter what round cap i get as long as its round?

You will have to remove the flash hider and front sight block. Knock out the two pins holding it. The FSB and gas tube will come out. Slide the cap off and another on. Reinstall the FSB. Make sure you support the FSB laying it on a block of wood.
