Hey fellers,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but have mercy on a budding AR-15 enthusiast. I'm turning my A4 into a C7A2, the Canadian service rifle. Is it as simple as putting the CAR stock, buffer, buffer tube, and spring in place of the A2 stuff? Thanks. |

Replace those parts with a CAR stock assembly including the CAR stock buffer and spring. Watch that you don't loose the take down pin detent spring or detent when swapping stocks, same goes for the buffer retainer pin and spring when you remove the tube. The C7A2 rifles are supposed to come with green A2 handguards, grip, and green "fiberlite" style CAR stock, but there's no reason you can't use black if you prefer, or use an M4 waffle-side stock if you wanted. |
