toady at the local gun show I picked up one of the LE tactical entry stock, however it did not come with a carbine length tube, I do have a modified tube ( flat part with the stops is ground ) that  I'm thinking of using, however

1. not sure if it is the proper length, , is it the same as carbine length ??
2. the rear hole is also not threaded for the stock screw, what is the thread pitch on the regular AR buttstock screw so I can drill and tap it ?
3. do you still use a spacer

lastly if my modified tube doesn't work are the entry stock tubes available by themselves ??

You don't use the spacer with the Entry tube.*

Stock screw threads are 1/4x28.

*ETA:

If you find the Entry length a bit short, though, you can extend the stock 1" with a DPMS Buttstock Extender:

When I did that I found the recessed hole on the buttpad necessitated getting some longer machine head screws:

Call RRA and see how much the screws for it are as well.  They sell all the little pieces, the killer is usually the shipping.  Hopefully you won't get raped.

I have a screw, I need to know what the thread size or pitch of the screw is so I can drill and tap it, I do not have a way to measure the pitch on the threads, plus the screw came with thread locker already on it  ??
