toady at the local gun show I picked up one of the LE tactical entry stock, however it did not come with a carbine length tube, I do have a modified tube ( flat part with the stops is ground ) that I'm thinking of using, however
1. not sure if it is the proper length, , is it the same as carbine length ?? 2. the rear hole is also not threaded for the stock screw, what is the thread pitch on the regular AR buttstock screw so I can drill and tap it ? 3. do you still use a spacer lastly if my modified tube doesn't work are the entry stock tubes available by themselves ?? this : http://www.brownells.com/1/1/41133-ar-15-le-entry-tactical-stock-le-entry-stock-rock-river-arms.html |
