Does anyone else have an ACS that exhibits play with the lock lever engaged? I have a six position mil-spec tube from BCM, the ACS locks up solid on the five of the positions, but when fully collapsed I get a little bit of fore/aft motion even with the lock lever engaged. Is this normal? The ACS is also marked mil-spec.

I had this as well with a BCM tube/ACS. Try carefully putting a long strip of electrical tape along the top inside part of the tube.

Make sure it runs and adheres perfectly straight the length of the tube.
