It still amazes me MEGA is not as well-known as they should be. I've been rockin' probably over 10+ reciever sets in the last 6 or so years and IMO, there is none better.
The fit, finish, and price of their stuff is unbeatable. When the MA-TEN set first showed, I about crapped my pants. And according to my USPS tracking, my set should be at my FFL today at around noon! I know what I'm doing this weekend!

I just built a new lower for my 14.5" Middy project and for the first time used a Mega Gator lower...and man I'm impressed! Just as the others have said, the fit and finish are second to none and everything went together very smooth. I used a DD LPK along with a Magpul MOE grip and I couldn't be happier. My spikes lower is good, but IMO the Mega just has a better look and feel at only a few dollars more.
BTW: I ordered mine from Rainier and received it from WA to SC in two days. I don't know where they're selling them for $85, but if they sell out I would definitely recommend going with Rainier when it comes to Mega parts. |

Do the newer Mega lowers drop P Mags? I have an 2-3 year old one that will drop any metal mag just fine but both styles of the P Mags hang up. I'm wondering if the Lancer mags will work.
It's not a big deal but I'd like my mags to drop free if possible. My Mega upper and lower is awesome except for this small detail. Thanks, Shootis |

Thanks, Shootis There was a range when Mega lowers would not drop-free Pmags. Mega offered to replace any lower that Pmags would stick in. |

Even though I'm not a science nerd...........I love Mega's rollmark. The awesome finish is just icing on the cake.
Here it is right after it was put together. All shiny and new.

| I'm going to add another +1 for the Mega lowers. I put off getting one for a while because I thought the logo was kind of gay but I finally broke down and got one. I have gone through a lot of lowers from all the big players (Colt, LMT, CMT (RRA), LAR (Ameetec) Armalite, BM, DS) and without a doubt, the Mega receiver is the nicest one of the bunch. At a price of under $100 they are a steal! |
