I was told they made less than 20 of them ever so don’t know if the hard to find makes them worth more. Also not a high demand at the same time. I’m going to email them to see if I can get the story behind it. |

Picked up a 20” .308 MWS DI rifle gas barrel with the intent of chopping it to 16” for mixed suppressed/unsuppressed use. For those who have done so, what are the ins and outs of gas port size? I’ve read that you can leave the gas port alone and it will still function well at 16”. True? If leaving the gas port stock, is a restricted gas tube or gas key necessary for suppressed use? Have you had to mess with spring rates or buffer weights to ensure reliability? This is kinda the beginning of my research on suppressing an MWS. |

Attached File MRP hiding in in the back. I shot 10 rounds of Barnes TSX through it today and was pretty surprised to see it right around 1.4 MOA with a bipod and bag. I’ve had a bunch of ARs shoot it more like 2+ minutes. Interestingly, I hadn’t been having great luck with heavy OTMs on this rifle

Ended up with this beautiful piece: Attached File What suppressors are people running on their LMT’s? Specifically the 12 inch pistons?? I hate to assume the Suppressed setting on the gas black is for traditional cans only, but that makes the most sense. Anyone running into issues with the new flow-through cans? Is there a need to keep the gas block on non-suppressed or run as suppressed even if there’s not as much back pressure?? Thanks All! |

Thanks All!  i run an old school aac mini 4 on my 12" piston upper and it's a good balance between suppression and weight/length. i haven't tried any of the flow through suppressors but imagine they should work fine with the piston upper i keep my gas plug set to suppressed even without a can , it gives a better recoil impulse |

I picked it up already dimpled, so I won't be able to compare to the non dimpled factory accuracy. I have a G33 showing up today and a few boxes of Bone Frog 77gr OTM to test it with. Not the best test since it's only 3x mag, but it's how I'll have the gun setup. It may be a few weeks before I can report back as I have a lot going on right now. |
