Anyone have any opinions Fail Zero's BCG?  I think that I might want one, but the price is rather high.  I like the idea of easier cleaning, but someone would have to tell me that it is the best thing since sliced bread for me to spend double.

Don't have one, but might if I fought in a sandbox.  Otherwise, regular stuff works just peachy for many thousands of rounds...

There were a few post recently about the BCG "sticking" causing problems. I would just go with a Ionbond coated BCG that is Milspec such as BCM.

There was a member here that tested his FZ without lube on his SBR with sound suppressor, which is the worst condition setup, if I remembered correctly he got over 2K rounds without lube and no cleaning before he got a FTF.

It's probably OK for that specific setup but for regular AR carbines I prefer just the standard finished auto BCG, the expense of those upgraded finishes to me is not worth it for ease of cleaning.

If you want your BCG to last longer take a look at the BCM Ionbond finished BCG, there also was a member here last year that posted his Ionbond BCG with over 20K rounds and it still looks like it's brand new.
