Now I've done a little bit of searching and haven't been able to find JACK as far as middy handguards that are NOT rail dedicated! I don't NEED 50 foot of rail! I don't use a vert grip, my light is mounting under the A2 sight base and I have no need for a bipod/any other rail accessories. Are there any comfy AND durable guards out there for a middy for under $100 or am I just gunna have to wait for the Magpul to come out?!

There are plenty of midlength free float tubes out there for under a hundred bucks, or stock plastic works. They should be quite easy to find.

Oh I know I can find a good free float or standard grip but I'm looking for something more comfy like the Magpul handguards. I have them on my carbine and love them but theyre not out yet in middy..Anything even similar out there?

Hogue 2-piece FF handguards are way under $100 and have no provisions for mounting junk.  They make a rubber coated one and a heavily knurled full aluminum one.  Want pics?

Try Rock River Arms. I think I remember them having "standard" handguards in mid-length for about $30. Even in green.

CavArms, Rock River, and Armalite, make standard plastic hand guards in midlength. Troy makes a FF without rails. PRI makes one with minimal rails, and I'm sure there are others.
