Yes, LMT HPT then MPI all their bolts, each and everyone, and don't be surprised when you get them dirty with some powder and brass marks.
It had been discussed here on many threads before, team members could look it up in the thread archives. I've got three LMT BCG the older one I got about 5 years ago had only a "F" letter production code marking on the bolt, the newer one I got a couple of years ago have "MP" markings. My third LMT BCG is a really rare one, the carrier is the standard M16 auto type park finish outside, but the bolt assembly had been hard chromed, no markings, it was a production upgrade mistake by the factory and they only made one batch back in around mid 2005. |
