Anyone have pictures of a carbine length Omega X rail installed?  Any opinions on it.

This was our first build with one. I like that you can get to the gas tube or even take the barrel off without removing the front sight.

Omega X requires the removal of the barrel, gas block or FSB, since it uses its own barrel nut, like the Lite Rail.  The barrel nut has to slip on the barrel from the muzzle, thus requiring the user to remove anything between the muzzle and the barrel extension.

Anyway here's my rifle with Omega X

I should have clarified. Once installed you can remove the two piece rail and leave the barrel nut in place or remove the barrell without removing the front sight.  Not the case with the one piece DD Lite rails.

Marshall, I've never thought about that, being I'm really retarded when it comes to FSB removal, once it's there I rarely remove it

I think you could say the same of other one piece FF tubes?
