| Ok, at the fear of being a dumbass...........I promise I did a search...............how do you change out a dustcover? I have a custom one that I'd like to install. Is there no way to do it without removing all the stuff around the barrel? How do you get that little C-clip off? |

| A fellow on this forum just replaced a dust cover without removing anything but the tiny "C" clip on the barrel end of the EP cover pin. with the "C" clip removed the pin should have enough play to just slide by the forward assist. It worked for him. Just be careful to not scratch your receiver. |
