I currently have a MOE but I wanted to attach the AFG but its not really long enough for my liking, I also need to attach a light an the front MBUS. Only thing is it seems like one you get a quad rail and then add covers it seems very fat and I don't have huge hands, I read the LaRue is the slimmest on the market. Any suggestions on what to do?

daniel defense Omega rails are very slim. and require no mods to the gun. check 'em out.

Troy, Vtac and Apex modular designs don't require covering rails because there are no rails where you don't need them. All three designs are also slimmer than the original handguards, or even standard free float tubes.
