Are there different versions of the Troy 7" MRF-DI?  I bought one off the EE that looks good, but the screws that screw it together are not the same as the MRF-DI I bought from PK a few years ago.  I am worried I may have got an Airsoft copy.  How can I tell the difference?

Anyone here mind posting the lot number from the bottom rail and if your screws are alan head or flat screw driver?

I'm fairly certain that they changed the type of screws used. Mine is lot #JF-2665, part #MRF-DI-071-3 and has regular slotted screws. I ordered from BCM so I know it is legit.

Here is mine:

The lot number on the rail in question is IH-1445 and the P/N is MRF-DI-072-3

Here is another question...the rail does not line up perfectly with my flattop upper like it should.  Could this because my barrel nut is not indexed properly?

Mine has flat head screws also, and I ordered it directly from TROY

I just went out and remounted my barrel.  I got the barrel nut to index properly, so the rail lines up now.

I have since sold the one I had and it had allen screws.  I purchased it right when they came out in 08.
