| Looking at one of these for a light weight coyote calling rifle. What is the SAM-R chamber, is it similar to a 223wylde? I plan to shoot either 60 vmax or 69smk. I have a pretty big stash of 50 vmax that work damn good in a 1-9 varmint rig, might give them a whirl, but the BDC in the 1-4 xtr will work pretty good I think with 69smk@2800ish or the 60 vmax @ 3025ish.What is the OD under the handguards? And last, main concern is accuracy then weight, will the Ion Bonded finish possibly hurt accuracy like CL or is this a non-issue? I plan on refinishing the barrel OD alumahyde if I get the bare version. |
