| I bought a barrel with a 1/2 x 28 muzzle thread and is a threaded barrel only and doesn't come with any kind of muzzle flash suppressor. My question is if I by a flash suppressor in that same muzzle thread does it need to be permanently attached to work or can I just screw it on to the end of the barrel and it should work? An answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Does not need to be permanently attached (unless you have a 14.5" barrel). If you get an A2 style FH or something else that needs to be 'indexed' you will also need a crush (or peel) washer for the installation. If you go with something like a Vortex, just screw it on and go. |
