Ok I have owned a 4lb trigger, but is there any reason I shouldn't get a 3lb for a target rifle? I mean has anybody had problems with their 3lb vs. a 4lb trigger? Light primer strikes, etc...
I think I want the 3lb because of the lighter pull but before I do want to make sure its not going to have any issues. Can you still rapidfire with the 3lb pretty good? (not bump firing, but I mean fire with about .5sec between shots) |

I had a couple of light primer strikes on my 3# trigger. Had a couple of rounds that I couldn't set off even with multiple strikes.
Popped them into my other rifle, they went bang. I never pursued fixing the issue because I bought a Timney trigger. I suppose when I put Bill's trigger back in to another rifle, I'll figure it out then. My guess is the Wolf extra power spring or Jard's AR10 hammer spring will fix it. |
