| Got a deal on a CTR, the place is moving, had one left for $70 out the door. I have been thinking about getting one, just looking for a deal. I LOVE it, nice and tight. I think I will be replacing all my stocks with Magpul stuff. |

yeah they are nice. Was yours MIl-spec and what kind of ARs do you have. The reason I ask Is the one I put on my Bushmaster commercial extention has about 1/32nd of movement when locked up. I put one on my Bushmaster and there is no movement at all. I had read other posts about having movement when locked up and it made me a little worried about buying one. |

I think I will be replacing all my stocks with Magpul stuff. I have 3 CTR's and 1 PRS. Magpul makes great stocks. One of my CTR's HAD a little wobble, but there is a way you can eliminate that. $70 is a hell of a deal. The cheapest I paid for a CTR was $92 plus shipping. The PRS I bought was at a steal of a price ($175), on the contrary. They usually go for $230ish, I think. |

Very easy to fix this. Pop out the pin on the friction lock. Pull off the lock. There is a little metal clip in there that you can bend and that will tighten up the stock when locked. Don't use too much pressure though. I had the hulk squeeze when I tightened up my buddies CTR and the clip snapped. Magpul sent me out a new friction lock, free of charge. All I wanted was the little metal clip, not the whole lock |
