[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LMT MRP upper

Does anyone have a LMT MRP upper? Looks like a good idea, 5.56 then and extra 6.8 barrel that changes out in minutes. Did a search and didn't come up with anything. Thanks

It is the best upper I own. Worth the extra $$$.

The only problem with the MRP system is the specs on the 6.8 barrels.
You can ream the chamber out to SPC II specs but you are still stuck with the 1 in 10 twist.

I told LMT I would not purchase anymore 6.8 barrels until they changed their specs and have not received any reply from them at all.

I have a CQB MRP. I really like the quick change concept. I need to get my lower registered and a 10.5" barrel ordered so I can "save" $$ by getting a second barrel/BCG instead of a whole new railed upper.
