| I am building a AR Coyote rifle. I was wondering what people in the using? I live in Michigan and probably won't be shooting more than 200 yards. More like 50-150... I was thinking about a 16 or 18 inch fluted. What do you all think? |

The 18" barrel will have a little more velocity.
We got a lot of wide open spaces,and I can tell you a 16" barreled carbine can shoot a LOT farther than what you are looking at. Light,easy to manuever,small over all size,and for 200 yards and under..............................I don't see a eason NOT to use a 16". I have 20s and 16s,and use both for varmints,IMO you really don't start seeing a noticable difference till you are pretty far out there. |
