| Some guy had a pic of his Gemtech G5 up with an ARMS rail system and some dude started bashing ARMS....? Why? Is there bad blood btwn Gemtech and ARMS? |
|
ARMS is law suit happy and has filed suit against Magpul, LaRue and others, The LaRue suit was over his LT 170 mount because it has the numbers 1 and 7 in it's name. I will not spend any more of my money with ARMS.

| I got a couple when they first came out and were the cat's meow. I still have them and will probably keep them because I like the way they look and they work. I also have ARMS mounts for my ACOG and Aimpoints which work great. I'm not going to swap everything out (at probably a huge lost) just because they decide to sue everyone. |
You better duck and cover with a question like that in these parts. LOL!!!![]() ![]() ![]()
Just kidding!!! There is not a lot of love in this room for ARMS products or customer service. I personally have had ARMS equipment fail and we train our equipment pretty hard, I moved on to what I feel is better kit and have had no problems....yet. I can't comment on the CS because I didn't bother. Flame suit on. |

ARMS gear is outdated and generally failure prone. Dick Swan is an ass. Ooooooohhh you're gonna get sued. ![]() A friend of mine called him a Nazi and got sued... Apparently Dick is the largest CONUS based collector of Third Reich memorabilia... |
| They make outdated stuff. I had their #40 BUIS about 7 years ago when they were the best of what's out there. It worked great. Fortunately other companies have produced newer BUIS but ARMS. Still sells the same stuff they came out with 8 years ago and I guess they don't want to develop new products. Instead just sue other companies to make their money. In fact well probably get sued for not using the trademark symbol next to their name in this thread. |
