[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PRI FF?

I posted this in the AR15 forum, but realized I may get more inputs in this forum

I am finishing an AR build and was looking at the PRI, black finish, FF tube... My other option is the Troy Extreme rail (Lots of recent inputs on that one from another thread )

Anyone have any experience/inputs regarding the PRI tube?

I used one on my first build, but prefered the bare carbon fiber look. Dumped the 12 and 6 oclock rails for a bit less weight. No plans to mess with it as it has held up fine, but for my more recent builds I used the Daniel Defense 12.0 rail systems.

I have a railed one (Gen III) in black on my SPR build, gets the job done and it's well built.

They make good handguards. I have 2 of them (9" and 12") and very happy with them. Their customer service is great also. I had a 7" and the carbon tube was a little too long and the gas block was hitting it before it was in the correct position. They took it back and I asked if I could upgrade it to a 9", which they did without any hesitation for my trouble. Here's my 9mm suppressed upper with the 9".

Sounds like either the Troy TRX Extreme or PRI are both solid...
