I own a Bushmaster AR15
- 16" barrel (14.5" + flash suppressor) - collapsible stock (6-position) - both features are factory. I want to put on a 20" barrel I know I will need: - the barrel - gas tube for 20" barrel - handguards Am I missing anything? I will have a local shop put it on as I do not have the experience nor the equipment to do the "operation." Will the buffer tube be OK, or will I need a different one? |

There is a sheet metal cap that holds the front of the standard A2 hand guards . I would also get a new barrel nut & delta ring assembly ( spring and snap ring ) . And , as mentioned a roll pin for the gas tube . And , buy the barrel with the Front Sight Base installed . And the front sight post , spring and detent . God bless Wyr |
