[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vltor CASV-M question

I just orderd a Vltor CASV-M for my first AR that should be comming a week from now. I'm puting it on a carbine length system with low profile gas block and the vltor flip upfront sight that goes with the handguard. But i'm not sure what to get as a flip up rear sight. The handguard leaves a small space (not sure how much) on the upper reciver flat top for the sight. Those of you with this handguard, what did you use?

I'd like something decent that fits flush with the handguard rail. Something clean looking and functional around $60-$100.

I used an ARMS 40L and a Troy with mine.

Matech and Magpul will not fit.

The Troy rear sight folds up just a bit lower than the rail. I like the way it blends in and kinda disappears when it's not in use.

is there any problem cowitnessing if there is an optic mounted since its a little higher?

Im wanting that rail...........anyone have one with a Troy rear flip, and EOtech? I figured the raised part is perfect with an Eotech site.....

You can't cowitness an Eotech on theis rail.

ETA- I had this set up for awhile. It works fine but if you need your irons, the Eotech has to come off. No big deal for me. Of course YMMV.
