Is it considered any more cool then a CM or other MP bolt?

FN held the Army contract for m-16's and parts in the early 90's, their products are high quality and definately not as common as colt usgi parts.

Not just more cool, it's BETTER than the CMT junk as CMT does NOT HP test their bolts before MP testing which kinda makes the MP test useless.
