I have tried DNTC 5.56 compensator and the 3 chamber Miculek comp on my 20" and 16" RRA AR's. Neither seems to reduce movement of the rifle/carbine as much as the Bushmaster Y-Comp that is on my buddy's Armalite 5.56 rifle.
Im wondering if anyone here has tried and or compared the Sabre Defense Tactical Gill-Brake to the above mentioned brakes. If you use the SD Gill-Brake how to you like it? Comments on any of the above mentioned brake comps? Link to the Sabre Defense Gill-Brake...http://www.sabredefencestore.com/ Thanks For Your Time -VonBarky- |
| I have used the DNTC and Gill Brake and in MY opinion the Gill brake worked a bit better without being as loud as the DNTC. Although these were not on the same rifle, which could make a big difference. The DNTC was on a 16" middy, and the Gill was on a 20" middy rifle. Also, this was with the "Competition" Gill brake, not the tactical, I think they are pretty much the same though. |
