Hello All,
My Stag standard M4 handguards dont meet up flush on the horizontal seam. This causes a very, very small amount of movement to be felt when using my VFG. Is this a bad thing? Is this normal for regular handguards? Detrimental, doesn't matter, etc.?
Thanks.

A little bit of movement is normal for some regular handguards, plus they were'nt designed to mount a VFG on them. I would get a good quality quad rail to mount your VFG on and that will eliminate your problem.

Other than that, if you you keep your setup the way it is, it won't hurt anything, as long as you can live with the movement of the HG.

Ok, great. The reason I didn't want a quad rail is because all I wanted was a VFG and to mount my TLR-1 infront of the VFG, so other rails weren't necessary and I thought I'd save myself $120 or so. Thanks for the fast response.
