I know of a 6724 Elite that might be for sale soon.  Are these good rifles or should I look for a custom of some kind? I want an accurate
.223 AR type rifle for range use and maybe high power NMC type shooting. Where can I find info and specs for  the 6724? Thanks.

Thanks. When were these made? How many were made? Are they rare? Are they accurate right out of the box
or do they need work? Does someone make iron sight bases to fit them? How much are they worth in used but
very good condition?

I could really use some help with this.  Thanks.

My Avatar is a group fired in one of my 6724's.  The range or distance if you prefer was 405 yards.  This group equates to a .184 MOA dispersion.

Then using 75 Hornady A-Maxes on a windy day, also at 400 plus

Now as a reality check, these were abnormally small groups.  The normal I expect and recieve from this rifle is more along the 1/2 MOA variety.  I have found that three things are essential if trying for small roups with an AR. First a quality aftermarket trigger, second great optics,  last is a must; tuned handloads to maximize any rifles potential.

Colt still produces and catalogs this variant, http://www.coltsmfg.com/cmci/Accurized.asp
