Im thinking of getting one for the extra battery storage space and such. I currently have a hogue rubber grip. Is the ergogrip a quality product with a similar feel? I also see that it has an extra piece of rubber that comes up behind the receiver.

Switching from the stock A-2 grip to the Ergo made a night and day difference in how my rifle felt, now it's much mo bettah.  It lengthened the length of pull for the trigger a bit (hense the bit that extends up the rear of the reciever) which was much needed since I have normal sized hands.  Definatly recommend it.

IMO Ergo grips are a tad softer than Hogue.  Just a bit, but I like them better.

I just put together an LPK with the Ergo grips. And while only the lower is complete and I haven't yet shot the rifle, I really like the Ergo's.

I like the Ergo grip better though Houge, of course now I like the Magpul grip better than Ergo.

I love the ergo I have! Get one.

I like the Falcon Ergo much better than the Hogue.  It's somewhat firmer, but not hard, and the finger groves are less pronounced, which is always a good thing.

My LMT came with one. I've tried other grips on this rifle but always go back to the Ergo. I like it.

Ergo grips are nice and I use them. But if one of your priorities is battery storage in the grip you should be aware that the Ergo grip's bottom plugs don't do a very good job of staying plugged in. I usually cut them off.

I have ergos on both my ARs, and soon to have one on my AK.
They are very nice, more 'substantial' than an A2 grip, and I love the grippy rubber texture.
The 'gapper' accessory they come with is a nice touch too.

That said, you can BARELY fit two cr123s in the grip. There isn't alot of space, and the cap doesn't have the most positive lockup...

Love Ergo with the suregrip.

But the thing is I DO NOT trust it to store things in.

The cap falls out even with nothing in them during rapid fire.

Don't buy it if the point is storage. Get the TD or Miad for that.

Buy it only if you like the feel and contour.

The Ergo grip is my favorite.  I've tried the other popular grips but I always go back to the Ergo.  The storage doesn't work though.  The first thing I do is toss the grip plug.

I had em, then I held a MIAD. Now I don't have em.

I have an ergo suregrip on my 6920.

Wish I'd made a different choice.  The grip is too small for me to make contact with the trigger with the right bit of my trigger finger without crooking my finger way out.

If I was going to make the choice over again, I think I'd go with the MIAD, because I've had good experience with magpul's products, and with the changeability of the grip, I'd be confident that it would fit my hand.

I just took delivery of a new complete MRP rilfle that has an Ergo grip on it.  All I use is a MIAD so it you want to make a deal send me an IM.

I replaced my Hogue with an Ergo.  I absolutely thought it was the last grip I would ever buy.  The I got to try a MIAD.  Now I don't have anymore Ergo's.

hmmm........MIAD seems to be the way to go. Thanks for the input.

I have both the MIAD and the Ergo 4061LF.  I have large hands and the Ergo 4061 fits better than any grip on the market.  The MIAD is OK, just a little thin and less deep for my hands.  The MIAD has it over the Ergo for storage no doubt, so I keep one on my Grendel to store a spare bolt as Grendels seem to have a higher % of bolt failures than standard AR15's.  Just go with whatever feels great in your hand, no one will know that for you but you.

Same here.  The only Ergo I still have came on an LMT Lower that has never had an upper put on it.  When I decide how to finish it out, I'll put a MIAD, or the single piece version of the MIAD on it.

ETA:  I'll make that same offer as ADCO anyone who wants an ERGO perhaps we can make a trade.

I have an ergo on one rifle, and a standard a2 on another. There is a difference in the feel of the grip, and for me the ergo fills my hand better. The ergo is very comfortable to shoot with, but in my opinion doesn't provide a good grip when its wet. I have a piece of medical gauze wrapped around my ergo so it provides a better grip.

What do you that like the Ergo grip prefer, the "Suregrip" or the "Rigid" model?
Thanks.

I prefer the Ergo w/ suregrip, feels comfy in hand...like a nice well- worn glove.
