Hi I'm wanting to build a FDE SPR (MK12 Mod 0), My question is

1)  How does the PRI Gen III dark earth match Magpul's FDE?

2) The A2 stock is the perfect length for me and I think looks the best too, does anyone make a FDE A2 stock?

I've also seen Cav. Arms makes an A1 stock and suggests their coyete brown color for Magpul's FDE, if I go this route can I get the KAC or DPMS 1" fixed stock spacer or a recoil pad to get close to the A2 length?  Oh and I dont care much for the Magpul PRS, just me.
Thank you for your time

None of them match..I ended up painting my entire MK12MOD0 with Duracoat "Vltor FDE" and it turned out great. I went with a SOPMOD on mine which is the only other stock I've seen on a real SPR MOD0 (other than the A2)...I prefer the collapsible just because I can fit it into a smaller space. As for the A2 stock, I don't know anyone who makes a FDE A2 so again, painting it would be your best bet.

If I need to paint the stock, what kind or type of paint do I need?  Hey I just thought of something what about these people that do the water transfer camos, mabe I could get them to do a FDE instead of camo on my A2 stock?  Anyone have any personal exp. on this, I figure it's got to be more durable and consistant than painting?

I did Duracoat and it's held up very well. Duracoat works best on rough surfaces (like on a Colt A2 stock...you know how they're kinda "fuzzy" or on fresh parkerizing) so if your stock/parts are smooth, I would roughen them up (70 grit Aluminum Oxide blasting works well). Water transfer would work too and it's probably a little more durable but you can apply Duracoat yourself (need a compressor, airbrush and some painting skills)
