I am looking for a new forend for a carbine, I think I am sold on the KAC RAS, but have a question. When it is installed how sturdy is it?
Thanks,
Chris

Quite sturdy. One screw tightens the upper half to the barrel nut, make sure that screw is tight, consider Loctite, you'll be fine.

Your rifle will need rebuild before the KAS will fail.

It's what our mil uses & it's prolly the best non-FF rail out there.
