Guys,
I’m thinking about ordering this barrel from Bushmaster. I wanted to get your opinion and double check that this will work on my AR. LINK It’s the “16" Bushmaster Patrolman's Carbine - M4 Type Barrel Assembly” about 1/3 down the page. Pic of the AR in question PIC Bushmaster XM15-E2S Thanks |

Yes, it will work.
Extreme backlog on most barrels at Bushmaster, hope your not in hurry. 
If it's a self install job you will need the proper tools. ALL THE INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW ps. I think Bushmaster is installing M4 barrel extensions on their barrels now. You may want to find out more about this before you order. Your upper more than likely has standard rifle cut feed ramps. |

I found this: Link Can I run a M4 barrel in a regular upper receiver? Sure, there seems to be no issues with this... or you could just dremel in the receiver cuts. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance. |

Some on this site have done just that. I would run the gun first to see if it is necessary before you get out the Dremel. |
