I didn't know where to put this. What will I need to mount a free float handguard on my AR?

If doing it yourself  you will need upper receiver action block , barrel wrench, and punches to remove front sight and gas tube.No tools or wrong tools can result in a ruined upper.

I just need to know what are the parts that I need, I'll take it to my local gunsmith for the installation.

Does YHM make a good 4 rail free float handguard?

While YHM makes a sturdy rail, they have been reported to have rails that are slightly wider than spec, the lock ring can be difficult to tighten, and the machine work can look a bit rough.

I use the "old" Samson rail, like the current Troy rail. They are narrower than the M.I. rail set.

That is a non-FF 2-piece. It's a good rail for the money.
