Ok, for my own edification, I wanted to post this question…

I’m setting up a new AR for longer-range potential…I have an 18” upper and the lower is all assembled…I’m considering a Magpul PRS stock as it appears to offer the most versatility and comfort for more precision shooting.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Approval or Scorn?  hanks!

If you are really going to use the features, adjustable length and riser height, the PRS is a great set-up. It is a bit on the heavier side, which for a rig done primarily for longer range work is not a bad thing.

I ran one on my AR-10 with very good results.

PRS is indeed very nice...

I use a Vltor EMOD on my 18" guns...because they are built as a sort of long range/mid range/semi close range hybrid and I don't want to add too much weight.

Just depends on what you're going for...
