Just found out about this guy and his work caught my attention.  I'm waiting on a Geiselle SSA combat trigger, and was just wondering how this guy's work would compare with Geiselle's SSA trigger.  I know it's probably an apple to oranges comparison, but if Mr. Springfiled's work is reliable this would surely be a cheaper route to get a good trigger on one's rifle.  However, I always had it understood that filing or tweaking the standard AR trigger would yield poor results in that the trigger job would not hold for long or that filing could "mess up" the surface hardened portions of the trigger.  I don't know, so that's why I'm asking.

I'm going to e-mail him later to see what it is that he does to stuff exactly, as I am very curious about his work.

If anyone has any feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I haven't used his services but he has been getting very good reviews around here. Somewhere there's also a several page long thread about him and his triggers.

Since breaking through "case depth" is not an issue with current FCG, as Bill is saying that current FCG's are hardened all the way through, I guess his mods will "hold through" extensive round counts.  If this is correct then his work is pretty cost effective.

I applied Hard Blue to three trigger groups Bill worked.  Very good trigger job.  Dollar for dollar, this is the best single stage trigger your will get from stock parts.

I'm sending off a trigger group today.
