Couple of questions if I can ask.

1. Where is the best online place to buy one?

2. I have a Bushy m4. Do I need the basic kit without the buffer tube or the full complete kit that comes with everything? I have seen statements that state they will only fit on LMT or Colt tubes!?!?

Thanks and happy shooting.

They come in BOTH commercial and mil-spec size.
Most of the dealers I've seen only have the mil-spec.
You can order from VLTOR.

Bushmaster uses a 'commercial' spec buffer tube. So you'll have to make sure you get the stock that fits the commercial tube.

Colt and LMT (and very few others) use a mil-spec buffer tube.
If this is really important to you, buy the whole set (stock and buffer tube) and swap everything.

Low price, and in stock are generally conflicting - which color are you hunting for?

I love my VLTOR Emod.

As previously mentioned, you can get them in Mil-spec or Commercial.

If you have access to digital calipers, the commercial tubes are 1.17 inches diameter and the mil-specs are 1.14 inches. Just buy the appropriate one. Or you can buy the whole kit with your Emod and sell your existing one.

eBay is where I found mine.

Brownells had a very good price with a C&R discount on the stock bodies.  I don't remember if they had commercial stocks though.

I like the Emod alot.  Great cheek weld and just heavy enough to balance out a front heavy gun.

The best place to buy the EMOD stock is right here at the EE, most of the prices from the dealers are about the same but sometimes one of them might have a promo/ deal like free shipping, free accessories, etc.

I got mine from Rainier Arms, great to deal with, I can't guarantee that they'll throw in anything but when I got mine, I got a couple of free TD rail panels with LMT logos.

Bushy, DPMS, Olympic, RRA, and some other brands have a large outer diameter, commercial type buffer tubes, you need to get the smaller diameter Mil-Spec type tube for the EMOD, I haven't seen a commercial size EMOD yet.

I don't know the setup of your M4 carbine but I would only recommend the EMOD stock if you have a medium to heavy weight carbine with long rails handguard and accessories on it to balance it out.

I tried my EMOD on my M4 carbine with only KAC RAS short rails with light, KAC VFG and EOTech and it felt tail heavy, but it's perfect for my other heavier carbine with medium contour barrel, LaRue FF 9" rails, light, TD VFG and Aimpoint with magnifier.

The EMOD is kind of a heavy stock but it balances out a front heavy carbine, it's my favorite stock.
