[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Upper Assembly

I want to buy a new ar-15 a-3 upper. There are so many to choose from. I currently own a bushmaster a2. Is LMT the best or is there a better brand for the money? Am I better off buying a Bushmaster brand upper? Or should I just buy a complete rifle?

Best bang for your buck would either go to LMT or BCM (when there in stock). Are you looking to put the new upper on an existing rifle or build a second one?

well i'm looking into using my existing lower to save a few bucks. I figured the $400 or so dollars i can save i can use on an aimpoint optic.
