Great rail system.
Yes they free float the barrel.
An Eotech will NOT co-witness on one.

I had one on my M4gery and I loved it. Only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't cowitness my EoTech, and it was just too heavy for what it did. It's a good piece of kit though, sturdy as hell, and it looks cool for what thats worth. I just replaced it with some MI railed handguards since my M4gery doesn't have much need for a free floated barrel.

It's actually not very heavy compared to other rail systems.

2 things  i forgot to mention; not sure which for-end your getting but if it is the one that covers the gassblock (this is the one i have and recommend) order their proprietary flip up front site. Also a remedy for your non co-witnessing aim point is to get some sort of quick disconnect lever mount for it, i constantly pop my tripower on and off guns during range time with little to no effect on zero, so if you ever feel the need to use irons you can very quickly.
