i know this has been asked before but i can't find the thread that covers this subject. tell me about the noveske kx3 flash suppressor. how good is it. does it increase muzzle rise/recoil since there are no ports to act as a brake. how well does it suppress the flash compared to others.

it is designed i believe to be used on SBRs to direct more of the blast forward.  Plus they look cool.  I wouldn't think it would create any more muzzle climb, but that is just a theory, no real experience to back it up.

Short Barreled Rifle

You will usually see the KX3 on 7" - 12" bbls.

It is unlikely you would see enough benefit on a 16" barrel to justify the cost.

IF WHAT REMAINS OF YOUR HEARING HAS ANY VALUE TO YOU, BE SURE TO INSTALL A NOVESKE KX3 ON YOUR 7.5" TO 10.5" BLASTER. YOUR TEAMMATES WILL APPRECIATE IT, TOO.

WHILE THE THE KX3 DOES SUPPRESS FLASH TO A DEGREE, IT IS MORE OF A MUZZLE BLAST CONTROL DEVICE. IN THE BARREL LENGTHS FOR WHICH IT WAS DESIGNED TO BE UTILIZED, THE BLAST CONTROL TRUMPS FLASH SUPPRESSION.

GOOD SHOOTING,
